Learning Technologies Department

This website encompasses both instructional technology and distance learning at Okaloosa-Walton College. While students will mainly be concerned with the distance learning side, faculty members will benefit from the technology the college offers for all facets of instruction.

The System Maintenance paragraph below contains important information pertaining to scheduled maintenance, upcoming events, and other announcements related to this department's mission.


Important Advisory

The Learning Technologies Department will create Usernames.  
Please note: Your class may not be available until May 12th.
 
Your Username is your firstname.lastname, i.e., john.smith, and your password will be your RaiderNet ID number, i.e. B87018759.   Please note that the first digit of your ID MUST BE ENTERED AS AN UPPER CASE LETTER, and no spaces or hyphens may be entered between numbers.

EXAMPLES -- CORRECT:   B87018759    INCORRECT:  b 87 018-75

System Maintenance

Important Advisory - The D2L system will not be available March 30th, and April 27th from 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. CST due to mandatory system maintenance.  These time frames all occur on Sunday mornings.  Thank you for your cooperation. 

Recurring System Maintenance - Takes place nightly between 12:00 a.m. (midnight) and 6:30 a.m., possibly resulting in some slowdown in D2L performance.
